How To Care Your TGAC Outfits
Care for your clothing is very essential to maintain its longevity!!
Protecting each and every garment will extend its precious life, season to season and will help make it Sustainable.
- All our Printed Outfits are processed using Digital Printing Technique (Direct on Fabric) using Natural Water Based Azo Free Reactive Inks. Natural dyes by their properties have a tendency to bleed (under tolerable limits) and tone down if washed repeatedly / soaked in water for a long time.
- Due to the Nature of Fabrics, We recommend Spot Dry Cleaning only. Spot Dry Clean means that the garment is only dry cleaned where the spots or stains have occurred, so as not to risk the dyes in fabric bleeding.
- If you must dry clean the entire garment, please look for an Establishment that uses Mild & Organic Products which work best for delicate fabrics, as well as being a more Sustainable solution to heavy chemicals.
- If you would like to Alter your Outfit, we recommend taking it to a trusted tailor who has experience of working with delicate / high fashion fabrics.
- Avoid wearing Printed Clothes in direct Sunlight for Long Hours.
- We know our Outfits are meant for Vacations and might get wet at places like Beaches / Pools etc. Kindly dry them in shade. Avoid giving for Tumble Dry.
- Please store your Outfits in Dust Covers. Should you need to hang them in your Wardrobe, please use Padded Hangers for delicate Silk & Viscose based Fabrics.
- Our Cotton Dresses are curated from High Grade Natural & Organic Yarns and it is recommended to store these outfits in soft muslin covers to protect them from dust.
- We Recommend using Contactless Steam Iron for removing the creases of the Outfit and to freshen up delicate fabrics like Silk / Viscose.
